Going on 10 weeks

We finally went to the Dr. and everything looks great. I am a little more then 9 weeks now. I am putting on weight much faster this time around because I haven't been sick like I was with the other two. I was already up 5lbs at my 7 week appt. I am going to have to be careful so that my fat bomb doesn't go off! My 4 am meeting with Fruity Pebbles probably won't help!! I am so hungry this time around and I have to eat or I begin to feel sick. I am not craving one thing in particular (well, except watermelon, which isn't in season!) I just get my mind set on something certain and crave it until I eat it. So far: chinese food, pepsi, queso, pickles, fast food
Not very healthy! I do eat a lot of fruit too, though. (:

The boys are doing really well! I am keeping up with them better than I expected to. I don't feel overly exhausted until around their bed time, so that has worked out well. I am in the middle of planning Jude's first birthday and in just a few weeks Pierce starts soccer. Life is busy but awesome! Nothing better than being a mommy to my sweet boys. I am looking forward to meeting the new addition to our family. It is always exciting to think about what they will look like and their unknown personality. So much to look forward to!

We finally told Chad's parents. They seemed excited and it was fun letting Pierce tell them. He gave my father in law the sonogram photos and said, "mommy has a baby in her tummy. It's a birthday present for you!" Hehe. All his own creation. Now we just wait about 6 more weeks to find out gender because we always opt out of the screening tests, which would let us find out at 12 weeks. So, for now we wait!

Boy name: Jack.

Girl name: no clue!

and then there were three!

It looks like we will be having a third baby in October!! My test finally came up positive, but I feel like I knew almost immediately. I have never been nauseous so quickly and inconsistently. Chad and I are both very excited! It is so amazing how God works, and I have seen him work so closely lately. It is amazing! He has answered so many prayers and it has been awesome to watch. First off, I asked him to change my heart and to really bring me to a place of contentment and satisfaction with my two boys. I had made having a daughter an idol and it is awesome to see how genuinely my heart has changed. I started really appreciating my kids for who they are and their unique qualities. It has been awesome learning to really love them for all that they are, and not be so focused on that they aren't girls. Before and after having Jude I was determined to get pregnant this month and sadly it was all for selfish reasons, I mostly wanted to just try for a girl. So, after having a content heart that pressure was no longer there and I told Chad we should just give ourselves time and continue to let us all adjust to eachother, especially since Pierce has been experiencing a lot of jealousy towards Jude. Well, God apparently had his own agenda anyway. Funny how it works...

Also, we will see if he is completely right(which would be creepy) but last week before we had a positive test, Pierce came over to me and started rubbing my belly. He said, " you have a baby in your belly" I laughed and told him he was crazy, with the suspicion already there. Then he said, " I want to touch the baby." " It's a baby sister."

It was so weird! It was out of nowhere. It would make a good story, but I guess we will see. Either way, I won't be crying out of sadness when we find out the gender of this baby, only tears of joy. I have a content heart and only my Jesus can do that! Such an awesome God we serve. (:

Now if only I could learn a little patience... I won't go to the dr. For at least 3 more weeks. Eeeek!

Brad Paisley

Saturday night was amazing. Not only did we get to see Brad Paisley, Chris Young, and Lee Brice, but we got to enjoy the experience with some really great friends. Chad and I had a ton of fun at the concert with Britney and Ryan. It was nice spending the weekend together and having a chance to catch up. Now I just need to work on getting them to move here! I guess I have to wait 3 years before I need to start trying. Gah...
